Welcome  Dr. Adriana Haerber!

We're delighted to welcome Dr. Adriana Haerber to the team at The Fresh Breath Clinic. As our new orthodontist, Dr. Haerber brings a wealth of clinical experience and a genuinely patient centred approach to every appointment, and we couldn't be more excited to have her on board.

Dr. Haerber has treated patients of all ages, from young children and teenagers through to adults, across both Brazil and Ireland. That breadth of experience means she's just as comfortable putting a nervous child at ease as she is guiding a busy adult through their treatment options. For Dr. Haerber, feeling heard and understood is just as important as the clinical outcome, and that belief shapes the way she works with every single patient who sits in her chair.

Her clinical expertise covers fixed labial appliances, orthopaedic appliances, and clear aligner therapy, giving patients a genuine range of options depending on their needs and lifestyle. Alongside her Master's degree in Orthodontics, Dr. Haerber has pursued further qualifications in Dental Medicine and advanced surgical techniques, and she remains committed to continuous professional development, always staying at the forefront of her speciality.

Braces and beyond: finding the right fit

Traditional fixed braces remain one of the most effective and well established ways to correct crowding, spacing, and bite issues, and they suit children, teenagers, and adults alike. For many patients, especially younger ones, braces offer a reliable, predictable path to straighter teeth and a healthier bite over time.

For those who'd prefer something more discreet, clear aligner therapy is also available, offering a removable, low profile alternative that can achieve similar results for many cases. And where a patient's bite or jaw development needs more support, orthopaedic appliances can help guide growth in the right direction, particularly for younger patients.

Whatever the right option turns out to be, Dr. Haerber takes the time to walk each patient through what's involved, how long treatment typically takes, and what day to day life with braces or aligners actually looks like, so nobody leaves their consultation with more questions than answers.

A team player, through and through

Ask anyone who has worked alongside her, and they'll tell you the same thing: Dr. Haerber is warm, honest, and a true team player. Whether she's treating a self conscious teenager or reassuring a parent about their child's first orthodontic assessment, her goal is always the same, helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles that last a lifetime.

Few dental procedures have as fearsome a reputation as the root canal. It's often used as shorthand for "worst possible experience" but the reality is a long way from the myth. Modern root canal treatment is a routine, well understood procedure that relieves pain rather than causing it.

It's easy to put off a dental visit, especially when nothing seems obviously wrong. Life gets busy, and unless you're in pain, a trip to the dentist can slip down the priority list. Studies suggest a significant portion of the population experiences some level of anxiety about visiting the dentist, ranging from mild unease to more serious avoidance that can go on for years. Whether it stems from a past experience, the sounds and smells of a clinic, or simply not knowing what to expect, we understand, and we're here to help
